Staggered Entry for Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a very exciting time! In order to help our Kindergarten students be as successful as possible, we like to have them participate in small groups for their first week at school. This allows the students to get to know their teacher, educational assistants and their peers. It also allows them to be introduced to some of the classroom routines gradually. Parents are asked to bring their child to school for a half day, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and to make arrangements to pick them up at 11:30 a.m. Full-time Kindergarten attendance will begin on Thursday, September 9, 2017.
Parents are encouraged to join the class for the last 30 minutes to visit with their child and teacher and participate in an activity together. A snack will be provided on this day.
If your child registered with the school prior to June 28, you will have received information from the school outlining which day your child will attend. If you did not receive this information, please contact Holly Berube in the school office at 780-467-7751.
If your child requires transportation for Kindergarten you will need to contact the Transportation office either at 780-417-8151 or email@example.com to register for the bus.
If you have any questions or need to make a change to your scheduled time, please call the office at 780-467-7751.
